Is Daredevil: Born Again just as good as the Netflix show? The Disney Plus revival is getting rave reviews as the Rotten Tomatoes score trickles in.
Daredevil: Born Again was never going to have an easy run. The original Netflix series was widely regarded as one of the best pieces of superhero media of all time, giving them absolutely massive shoes to fill. Marvel also isn’t in the same position as when the show first came out, as the tide of public opinion as generally turned against their superhero projects and Disney Plus exclusive offerings.
Though luckily for fans, it seems as though Daredevil: Born Again is at least doing a decent job with living up to this sky-high expectations. The Rotten Tomatoes score for the series (at least, the first two episodes) has officially been revealed. The Disney Plus revival gets a solid 83% with critics, as well as a genuinely fantastic 95% with audiences.

Does Daredevil: Born Again Stack Up To The Netflix Series?
Some interesting things emerge when comparing the Rotten Tomatoes score of the original Daredevil Netflix series to the Disney Plus revival. When just taking each show as a whole, critics seem to generally prefer the original, giving it a 92% when compared to the new show’s 83%. However, fans seem to have a higher opinion of Daredevil: Born Again, giving the soft reboot a 95% compared to the original’s 89%.
This is reflected when you break down the Netflix series by seasons. Critics seem to generally prefer the original run, with Daredevil: Born Again only being reviewed better than season 2 (81%) and sitting below season 1 (99%) and season 3 (97%). However, fans have reviewed the Disney Plus revival better than any season of the original run, which includes the first season sitting at 93%.
