Blake Lively is returning to life as normal — even as her legal battle continues on!
Over the weekend, the actress was in Texas for SXSW and the premiere of her new movie Another Simple Favor. On Wednesday, she took her Instagram to share some BTS moments from the trip, including a new “mom hack” she discovered with her family!

She posted a pic to her feed and Story in which she wore a black bathing suit and cover-up with her feet standing in two brown paper bags, teasing;

Clever hack! And it sure seems like she’s having a grand ole time these days! Despite, you know, claiming her issues with Justin Baldoni were causing her intense emotional distress.
As mentioned, the Gossip Girl star is fighting with her It Ends With Us co-star/director over sexual harassment and smear campaign claims. In her lawsuit, her legal team said Blake and Ryan Reynolds‘ kids, James, 10, Inez, 8, Betty, 5, and Olin, 2, had been left “traumatized” by all the hate their mother has been receiving since she spoke out against the filmmaker. The public’s reaction had been getting to her too, the docs stated:
“There are days when she has struggled to get out of bed, and she frequently chooses not to venture outside in public. While she has fought to maintain her personal life and business interests, behind closed doors she has suffered from grief, fear, trauma, and extreme anxiety. She also has been experiencing repeated and painful physical symptoms as a result of this experience.”
The Deadpool star was also “affected mentally, physically, and professionally by his wife and children’s pain.” Brutal.
Now, we get Blake has to live her life and she was traveling for work. Plus, she still has about a year before this case will go to trial. She’s allowed to process her emotions and find some happiness again. But posting about it amid the ongoing legal proceedings does seem like it could backfire! Just like the SNL 50 joke, what if Justin’s team tries to use this against her?? You never know!
