‘The Boys’ Starts Production On Season 5 With Reveal Of Premiere Title

]

The Boys are back in town! Production on season 5 officially begins as Eric Kripke reveals the title of the highly-anticipated premiere.

People have been waiting with baited breath for The Boys to start production on season 5. The politically charged superhero show left off with one of the craziest finales its ever head leading into one of the most contentious election years in history. There’s been a lot of speculation about how the show would handle the current political landscape, and if the series could stick its landing after a relatively rocky season 4.

Signs that production on season 5 would be starting soon first surfaced on Laz Alonso’s Instagram, where he posted a photo of nearly the entire cast of The Boys sitting down for a meal. This led many to assume that the group was gearing up to film the premiere in the coming days, especially as only a few key faces were left out of the picture.

The Title Of The Boys Season 5 Premiere

Filming on season 5 was officially confirmed with a post from showrunner Eric Kripke with a post showing the title page of the premiere’s script. This, in turn, continued the tradition of revealing the title of the first episode ahead of production. Heading into the show’s final season, it seems Episode 1 will officially be titled “Fifteen Inches of Sheer Dynamite,” proving that even as politics changes, the humor of The Boys never does.

Given the show is only just now filming its premiere at the end of November, it’s likely that The Boys season 5 won’t be releasing until sometime in 2026. While this may seem like a lifetime, it certainly gives the cast and crew plenty of time to make sure that the final season of such a controversial show manages to appeal to longtime fans while still making the impact it hopes to.

The Boys season 4 is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Stay tuned for the latest news surrounding the series and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
