Lionsgate and Feigco Entertainment are set to launch their latest mystery-thriller globally on Prime Video starting May 1, 2025. Directed by Paul Feig and produced by Feig and Laura Fischer (p.g.a.), this glamorous follow-up to A Simple Favor brings back Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively in a deadly game of secrets and suspense.

Titled A Simple Favor 2, the film follows Stephanie Smothers (Kendrick) as she reunites with the enigmatic Emily Nelson (Lively) on the picturesque island of Capri, Italy. Emily is preparing for a lavish wedding to a wealthy Italian businessman, but festivities take a dark turn when murder and betrayal crash the guest list. With twists as sharp as Capri’s winding roads, the film promises a dazzling yet dangerous affair.
The screenplay is penned by Jessica Sharzer and Laeta Kalogridis, based on characters created by Darcey Bell. Executive producers include Jennifer Booth, Sharzer, and Marco Valerio Pugini.
The cast is packed with star power: Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Elizabeth Perkins, Michele Morrone, Alex Newell, Elena Sofia Ricci, Henry Golding, and Allison Janney join Kendrick and Lively for this suspense-filled sequel.
