OMG! Miley Cyrus contracted a serious infection while filming her new visual album Something Beautiful!
On Thursday night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the singer revealed that back in October 2024, she was filming her upcoming project on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which involved her rolling around on the famous sidewalk. Little did she know at the time, she “caught something” nasty because there’d been no effort to clean the likely VERY dirty walkway, and it landed her in the ICU! She dished:
“By November at Thanksgiving, I was put in the ICU for a moment — just for a moment.”
Yikes!

The Hannah Montana alum said her “leg began to disintegrate […] around the kneecap area.” She recalled:
“The doctor goes, ‘Do you have any idea why you would have such a brutal infection on your kneecap?’ And I just saw myself [rolling on the ground] and I had to tell him.”
That had to have been a first! Miley then laughed that the surgeon found her injury “disgusting” — despite all the horrific things medical professionals see on a daily basis:
“Like, they open up cadavers, they see inside the gut of humans, and they’re looking at me telling me I’m disgusting.”
As for why she was rolling around on the street, she joked she filmed the video in the middle of the night to avoid pricey rental fees because she was sticking to a tight “budget,” explaining:
“I had a big dream and a small budget. Well, I had a pretty good budget but I spent it all on my clothes.”
Hah! The 32-year-old then wondered if the comedian had ever been to the tourist attraction at night, laughing that she “thought it was [her] last day.” Well, she really must’ve thought that when she saw her leg!
