Taylor Swift is glad she can put the It Ends With Us legal drama behind her!
Earlier this month, Justin Baldoni’s legal team subpoenaed the pop star as a witness, and the alleged reason rocked everyone! Even Taylor’s friend group! His lawyer Bryan Freedman claimed someone close to the 35-year-old singer — possibly her dad Scott Swift — dropped a bombshell about Blake Lively they wanted to question her about! The Gossip Girl alum allegedly tried to extort Taylor, threatening to leak text messages from over 10 years if the Grammy winner did not publicly support her! Whoa!

Last week, Justin dropped the subpoena. Tay may be in the clear when it comes to the legal battle, but her friendship with Blake is done. If the allegations are true, we get it! How can you trust someone after a betrayal like that?
No one reportedly has attempted to make amends since subpoena-gate ended! Not even Blake – the person who needs to issue an apology! So, a source told Us Weekly that their friendship has “stalled” now:
“There’s been radio silence between Taylor and Blake since the subpoena was dropped.”
The insider shared that the “legal tension” created “distance” between former best friends. And don’t expect the pair to find their way back to each other in the future! The source continued:
“They won’t pick up where they left off because of all the emotional residue.”
We can’t blame Taylor! It would be hard for anyone to move on from a friend extorting you! While the Cats actress is “not talking about the case,” the insider said she has made it “very clear she is feeling an immense sense of relief,” adding:
“It’s been a stressful few weeks for her and she seems happier and lighter since the subpoena was dropped. Taylor has handled it with a lot of grace and is not solely focused on it. She’s moved on.”
Tay must feel even more elated at the moment as she owns all her masters again! Things are really looking up for Travis Kelce‘s girlfriend! Blake, on the other hand, not so much! She lost several friends AND her business are hurting after Freedman’s allegations. Oof. Ryan Reynolds‘ wife is learning the hard way what happens when you cross TAylor Swift..
