‘Superman’ Character Posters Give Fans Their Best Look Yet At The Justice Gang And Metamorpho

]

Is Superman ready to tango with the Justice Gang? Posters for Hawkgirl, Mister Terrific, and the DC Universe’s first Green Lantern Guy Gardner have been revealed!

The Justice Gang is one of the weirdest parts of Superman. Set up as a proto-Justice League, the team is composed of some second draft picks from the DC Universe. Perhaps the most profile is the “worst” of the Green Lantern Corps, Guy Gardner. However, the team is actually led by Mister Terrific, a hero familiar to fans of the Arrowverse, being rounded out by Hawkgirl.

Fans haven’t gotten too much information about the role the Justice Gang will play in Superman. They seem to be set up with the intention of being thematic foils to the titular hero, bringing a more cynical superhero team put together by the industrialist Maxwell Lord. However, they seem set up to play a fairly important role in the story nonetheless, with Mister Terrific, Guy Gardner, and Hawkgirl all getting individual character posters for the film.

Metamorpho Joins The DC Universe

However, Mister Terrific, Hawkgirl, and Guy Gardner aren’t the other heroes in the DC Universe. Metamorpho is also set to be in the film. While he seems to not be a part of the Justice Gang, his arc in Superman seems to be one in which he struggles between being a hero and during what he must to protect his kid. In a way, he’s much more of a hero than even the Green Lantern on the main team! As such, he also got the spotlight in the recent batch of posters.

Having the Justice Gang and Metamorpho in the first DC Universe film certainly sounds like it could be crowded. However, the trailers have made it clear that they’ll be playing a supportive role in Superman more than an active one. Mister Terrific seems to be getting the most screen time out of all of them, with Guy Gardner and Hawkgirl tee’d up for larger roles in projects like Peacemaker and the Green Lantern series Lanterns.

Superman is currently scheduled to hit theaters on July 11, 2025. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the DC Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
