It’s been a rough year for the married couple, and tension between them has reportedly only ramped up over the past few weeks. Just earlier this month, Justin went off on paparazzi before going on a Father’s Day social media tangent. Part of the bizarre tirade included screenshots of private messages between him and a pal where he claimed to be a “traumatized person,” which reportedly upset Hailey, who felt like “it was one of the dumbest things he’s ever done like ‘feeding raw meat to a pack of lions who want to eat you alive.’”

This past weekend, she stepped out in New York without her wedding ring and we heard reports that she wants space from the Peaches singer to allow him to “focus on wellness and self-care.” And honestly, we don’t blame her. Because it sounds like they’re sort of at the point where EVERYTHING they does annoys each other.
On Monday, an insider told Entertainment Tonight:
“Justin has been getting irritated easily and feels like Hailey can be superficial about the way their relationship looks in the public eye…”
Inneresting. So he wants to tell the world to eff off… which tracks with how he’s been acting lately. But is she being superficial? Or does she just want to keep running the billion dollar business she’s the face of? We mean, they both chose this celeb life. It’s not really fair for him to decide they both should reject it now, right?
Meanwhile, the source says “Justin’s lack of motivation has been upsetting for her.” We can’t fault her too much there. She married one of the the biggest stars in pop, and he just… stopped even trying to make music. Meanwhile, she’s been on the come-up, has found all this success, and he’s just being a cantankerous house husband?
It’s not all bad news. The insider continued:
“Their friends think they can salvage their marriage — and they both want that — but right now things are not good.”
Yikes…
It sounds like they really need to find some compromise here. If not… maybe they are in too different places now. People grow apart. It happens every day.
