Influencer 4XTRA is down two fingers after an attempt to set off fireworks went incredibly wrong.
The rapper, who co-hosts the No Jumper podcast, is recovering after a 4th of July stunt reportedly left him maimed. In a since-deleted video, 4XTRA holds two M80 fireworks — enormous, dangerous versions of firecrackers — while joking:
“Who wants to get blown up today? I’m going to blow your ass up! I’m blowing somebody up today.”
And it turns out it was him.

His sister Emily revealed on a GoFundMe fundraising page she created for him:
“On the 4th of July, 4XTRA was injured in a firework accident. As many of you know, medical care can be incredibly expensive and add up very fast . 4xtra is someone who lights up every room with his humor and energy. If you’ve ever laughed with him, shared a moment, or simply care about his well-being, Any support-from donations to prayers or even just sharing this-means the world to us.”
She concluded:
“Thank you all for your love, support, and kindness during this difficult time.”
Rumors quickly started circulating that 4XTRA lost his whole hand in the incident, but YouTube star Adam22 clarified he “only lost 2 fingers” on Monday’s episode of the No Jumper podcast. Watch (below):
