The much awaited trailer launch of the animated movie Mahavatar Narsimha was launched in a grand way in Vrindavan earlier today by the film’s director Ashwin Kumar and producer Shilpaa Dhawan. The occasion chosen was a special satsang of Indresh Ji Maharaj at Fogla Asharam where Bollywood Hungama was also present.
Mahavatar Narsimha trailer launched in a grand way in Vrindavan: “We want every theatre to become a temple”
Mahavatar Narsimha tells the story of Lord Vishnu’s Narsimha (half man and half lion) avatar, which he took in order to eliminate the demon Hiranyakashipu. The film is the first one in the line-up of the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe.
Speaking at the launch, director Ashwin Kumar said, “We have been trying for five years to ensure that the name of God reaches every soul and every soul gets awakened. We ourselves were in the darkness of this Kaliyug, but the name of God helped us. We want the name of the God to reach every soul and every theatre becomes a temple. We want this to continue and bring every avatar (of Lord Vishnu) on the big screen, so that we present these heroes to everyone from young and old and their minds remain fixed on God and faith.”

While requesting people to watch the film in theatres, he added, “Take with you even those who don’t have faith in God, so that they know what our God is like.”
Producer Shilpaa Dhawan shared her personal motivation to make this franchise. “My kids used to play with Superman and Spiderman toys,” she said. “And they used to get scared when they would hear about Narsimha bhagwan because of his aggressive avatar. So, we realized that our children in our own country are scared of our real superheroes. So, we thought why not do something that people start loving Narsimha Dev, Varaha Dev, etc, and they become their best friends?”
Mahavatar Narsimha is directed by Ashwin Kumar and produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai under the banner of Kleem Productions and it’s presented by Hombale Films. The film will also be released in 3D in five Indian languages on July 25, 2025.
Hombale Films and Kleem Productions have officially unveiled the line-up for this ambitious animated franchise, which will span over a decade and chronicle the seven avatars of Lord Vishnu: Mahavatar Narsimha (2025), Mahavatar Parshuram (2027), Mahavatar Raghunandan (2029), Mahavatar Dhawkadhesh (2031), Mahavatar Gokulananda (2033), Mahavatar Kalki Part 1 (2035), and Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 (2037).
