Barry Keoghan broke his silence amid the breakup drama with Sabrina Carpenter!

As you know, news broke earlier this week that the pair ended their relationship after only a year of dating. Sources claimed it was due to their busy careers. However, rumors soon started circulating that the Saltburn star cheated on the 25-year-old singer with a “blonde, semi-famous” TikTok influencer, all thanks to a blind item from DeuxMoi. Who is the other woman? Fans pointed fingers at several blonde influencers over the past few days. However, one has seemingly confirmed the rumors: Breckie Hill.

As you can imagine, loyal Sabrina fans haven’t been too happy with Barry since then — and they’ve made sure he knows their feelings on social media! To the point where he has now taken to social media to call everyone out for their “disgusting” comments!

You see, it all started when the newly single actor posted several pictures on Instagram Friday, flaunting his muscles in the mirror of what appeared to be a gym locker room. In the photos, he sported a green tank top — perfect for showing off the guns — with black pants, a matching belt, and a gold necklace that featured a large ring around his neck. However, after the posts dropped, it appears Barry deleted his account! On Saturday morning, his Instagram displayed an error message that read:

“Sorry, this page isn’t available.”

Hours later, he took to X (Twitter) to explain why his account was gone! The 32-year-old called out the “absolute lies” and “disgusting commentary” about him online, writing:

“I can only sit and take so much. My name has been dragged across the internet in ways I usually don’t respond too. I have to respond now because it’s gettin to a place where there are too many lines being crossed. I deactivated my account because I can no longer let this stuff distract from my family and my work. The messages I have received no person should ever have to read them. Absolute lies, disgusting commentary about my appearance, character, how I am as a parent and every other inhumane thing you can imagine. Dragging my character and everything I worked extremely hard for and stand for. Talking about how I was a heroine baby and how I grew up and dragging my dear mother into it also. Knocking on my grannies door. Sitting outside my baby boys house intimidating them. Thats crossing a line.”

No matter what Barry allegedly did, no one should be dragging his family — especially his 2-year-old son Brando — into this, and going to their homes! That’s not OK. He continued:

“Each and every day I work harder to push myself on every level to be the healthiest and strongest person for that boy. I want to provide opportunities for him to learn, fail and grow. I want him to be able to look up to his daddy, to have full trust in me and know I will have his back no matter what. I need you to remember he has to read ALL of this about his father when he is older. Please be respectful to all.”

Innerestingly, he did not directly address the cheating rumors! Not even to shut it down! However, a People source previously denied infidelity caused the breakup with Sabrina, insisting that The Banshees of Inisherin star “was always very faithful” to the Taste artist. Hmm.
