Naga Chaitanya is celebrating his 37th birthday today, marking his first since getting engaged to Sobhita Dhulipala. He is spending the special day with close friends and family in Goa. With their wedding just 10 days away, Chay shared his excitement, expressing that he can’t wait to start this new chapter of life with Sobhita.

In a recent conversation with ETimes, Naga Chaitanya spoke about his upcoming wedding with Sobhita. While he expressed a lot of excitement, he also shared that there are no nerves involved. “There’s definitely a lot of excitement, butterflies… not much (smiles),” he said, adding that the butterflies come from the planning and logistics, like finalizing the guest list and other wedding details. He also confirmed that the wedding will take place at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, a venue with special sentimental value. Chaitanya revealed that his family made the conscious decision to hold the ceremony there, in front of his grandfather’s statue, to seek his blessings.

Naga Chaitanya went on to say that this year is especially meaningful for him as he looks forward to starting a new chapter with Sobhita. “I connect deeply with her; she understands me beautifully and fills a void in me. It’s going to be an amazing journey ahead,” he shared. When asked if Sobhita had planned anything for his birthday, the actor responded, “She leaves all the planning to me. As long as she is there with me, that’s good enough for me.”

Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya, who got engaged in August this year, are set to marry on December 4, 2024. Naga Chaitanya was previously married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu, but the couple separated in 2021 after four years of marriage.

A few days ago, the wedding invite for Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming wedding was leaked online. The invite came in a basket filled with personalized goodies, and it was reported that Sobhita herself packed around 100 invites. She carefully curated the basket with some of her favorite items, including handmade Kondapalli dancing dolls, old-school bath essentials, a filter coffee kit, and more.
