Ajay Devgn took to Instagram to share a hilarious video of a toy car crashing into a toy truck, playfully referencing Rohit Shetty’s signature action style. Known for his high-octane sequences, Rohit is famous for dramatic car chases, slow-motion explosions, flying SUVs, and spectacular stunts.
Ajay Devgn also shared a photo of himself with Rohit Shetty, captioning it, “Tere hisse ke bhi aaj maine hi udaa diye… To the man who makes madness look like magic Happy birthday, bro! @itsrohitshetty.”
Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty’s latest collaboration is Singham Again. Based on a story by Kshitij Patwardhan, the film features Ajay in the lead role alongside Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff.
Singham Again is the fifth installment in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe and was filmed across Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kashmir, and Sri Lanka.
Up next, Ajay Devgn will star in the sequel to Son of Sardaar alongside Mrunal Thakur and Sanjay Dutt. The original 2012 film featured Ajay, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, and Juhi Chawla.
The 2012 film Son of Sardaar was based on S. S. Rajamouli’s 2010 Telugu film Maryada Ramanna.
Ajay Devgn also has De De Pyaar De 2 in the pipeline. Directed by Anshul Sharma, the film also stars R. Madhavan. The first instalment, De De Pyaar De, was released in May 2019.
