Jason Momoa is headed back to the DC Universe! The Aquaman star has seemingly confirmed that James Gunn has called him in to play Lobo.
Jason Momoa has always been seen as the perfect fit to play Lobo in the DC Universe. Even back when he was playing Aquaman, fans seemed to generally agree that they’d be happy with him playing double duty if it meant playing the glorious Bastich on the silver screen.
It seems these hopes have finally come true. In an abrupt piece of casting news, Jason Momoa posted to Instagram a screengrab of an interview expressing his interest in playing Lobo in the DC Universe. This came along with the caption simply stating “They called,” suggesting that James Gunn and Peter Safran called him in to play the Fraggin’ ferryman in an upcoming project.
