Actress Asha Negi, known for her work in OTT projects such as Baarish, Abhay, and Ludo, is set to return in the upcoming fourth season of Criminal Justice. The legal drama, led by Pankaj Tripathi, has maintained a steady following over the seasons, and its next installment is generating quiet anticipation among fans.

For Asha, this opportunity marks an exciting new chapter. Speaking about what drew her to Criminal Justice: A Family Matter, she shares, “Well, I think it’s a powerful franchise and every season brings something fresh, impactful, even more interesting, and better than the previous season. Also, you are getting an opportunity to work with such phenomenal actors, it’s something I couldn’t pass up.”
Negi’s choice of roles has always reflected her desire to challenge herself, and this project is no different. Talking about her character, she reveals, “The character I’m playing is extremely challenging. It made me visit emotional spaces that I haven’t really explored before. It made me feel that discomfort. And honestly, at this point in my life as an actor, I would love to do such parts, something that is challenging. Yes, I am thankful.”
While Asha may not have had many direct scenes with Pankaj Tripathi during the shoot, she deeply admires the actor, who has become synonymous with the role of lawyer Madhav Mishra. “We haven’t really shot together much, but I feel fortunate to be part of the same series, and we all know how phenomenal an actor Pankaj sir is!”
Directed by Rohan Sippy, the upcoming season also features a stellar ensemble including Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Surveen Chawla, Mita Vashisht, and Shweta Basu Prasad.
Fans of the series and Asha Negi can look forward to seeing her in a layered, intense role that pushes her artistic boundaries, making her comeback one to watch.
