Charlie Cox is back and better than ever! Matt Murdock makes his return to Disney Plus in the first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting any news they can get on Daredevil: Born Again. Despite the series releasing in less than three months on Disney Plus, Marvel has been rather stingy when it comes to showing any footage from the series. However, following a mysterious tease on social media yesterday, Charlie Cox is officially back in the saddle as Matt Murdock in the revival series.
The trailer sets up a new status quo for Daredevil: Born Again. With the franchise officially merging with the main Marvel universe in the latest installment on Disney Plus, both Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio find themselves playing very different roles than the original series. Matt Murdock has seemingly given up the life of a vigilante, potentially after losing someone close to him, and Kingpin has officially joined the leading ranks as mayor of New York City.
Daredevil: Born Again’s Stunning Poster
Marvel didn’t just treat fans to a trailer for Daredevil: Born Again. The studio also released a poster showing off the two leads of the series, Matt Murdock and Kingpin, with their head imposed on opposite sides of a line. It’s certainly a striking image, with Charlie Cox seemingly not losing his step in playing the Man Without Fear.

Promotion is only likely to pick up for Daredevil: Born Again now that the first trailer is out. It’s likely TV spots will illuminate more as to why Matt Murdock decided to lay down the mantle of the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, and how Kingpin managed to become the Mayor of Marvel’s major city. Though with a first trailer this good, it’s likely to top Disney Plus charts with little promotion at all.
