Elijah Blue Allman has been hospitalized following an overdose.
Cher’s son with late husband Gregg Allman was rushed to a hospital on Saturday after overdosing on drugs earlier in the morning in Joshua Tree, California, according to TMZ. As of now, it’s not clear what drugs he was using, but sources told the outlet he’s still receiving medial care and is lucky to be alive. According to the outlet, Cher is doing what she can to help assure Elijah gets the help he needs.

This comes less than two years after the Believe singer filed for conservatorship control over Elijah’s finances claiming he was “substantially unable to manage his own financial resources due to severe mental health and substance abuse issues.” Weeks later, her request was denied.
