Cassie is still testifying — and in her latest harrowing stretch, she’s detailing the aftermath of Diddy’s brutal 2016 hotel attack.
During day three of the disgraced rapper’s New York trial on Wednesday, Cassie returned to the stand to discuss the infamous incident at the InterContinental Hotel in LA in 2016 — and what happened after.
As we all saw in that security footage, Diddy mercilessly beat his then-girlfriend as she tried to escape to the elevator. It’s truly awful to watch. But the end of the video doesn’t tell the whole story.

The now-38-year-old testified that when she arrived home after the beating, her friend noticed her injuries and called the police. But when they arrived to question her, she refused to give up who inflicted the injuries upon her:
“I answered a couple of questions but when they wanted me to say who I was talking about I would not, so they left. Just in that moment I didn’t want to hurt him in that way. Too much going on for me in that moment. I wasn’t ready.”
During day two of the trial, Cassie notably testified that she was scared to defy the rap mogul. She couldn’t even avoid him for long.
According to Cassie, the Bad Boy Records founder texted her multiple times after the assault, urging her to call him. According to ABC, messages shown in court include the following:
“Yo pls call me. I got six kids. Pls call me.”
“Call me. Call now.”
She didn’t call. But she texted. In response Cassie informed the producer he’d just given her visible injuries mere DAYS before her scheduled appearance at the premiere of her 2016 film The Perfect Match:
“I have a premiere Monday for the biggest thing I’ve ever done and I have a black eye and fat lip. You are sick for thinking it’s ok to do what you’ve done.”
She added:
“Please stay away from me.”
It gets worse…
According to Cassie, Diddy’s assistant, identified as KK, informed her that the Bad Boy for Life rapper was coming to her apartment building… Where she soon heard him banging on her door. She recalled hearing “chaos outside the door, banging, kicking, yelling” and “just commotion in a very private building.” However, she refused to let him inside. Good.
But she couldn’t make what he’d done go away. The Me & U singer claimed she was left scrambling to hide her injuries for the movie premiere, resorting to wearing sunglasses “to cover up my eye” since she “got hit in the face” during the violent InterContinental Hotel attack. She added she also “wore quite a bit of makeup” to hide “the bruising on my face.” You can see photos of her — and Diddy — at that premiere (below):

She also claimed bruises were visible on her leg in an after-party dress she wore. Poor girl… She just had to act like nothing happened.
Cassie’s testimony will continue, too — so more is likely to come…
