TV actor Dipika Kakar has finally addressed the rumors circulating on social media, which falsely claimed that she had abandoned her first daughter from her previous marriage. The Sasural Simar Ka star slammed the trolls, firmly stating that there was no truth to these allegations.

Dipika revealed that the baseless rumors deeply affected her, especially since they surfaced during a challenging phase of her life when she was expecting her son, Ruhaan, in 2023. Dismissing the claims, she expressed her anguish over such serious accusations. “Mai ek maa pe bhi itna bada allegation lagane ka sochungi bhi nahi, ki usne apni beti ko abandon kar diya (I would never even think of making such a serious allegation against a mother—that she abandoned her daughter),” Dipika stated in an interview with Nayandeep Rakshit.
Opening up about the emotional toll, she further shared, “I got affected big time because that was the phase I was expecting Ruhaan. And for me, it was like, you know, my only worry and my only question to Shoaib was, ‘Yeh jab aayega toh log yeh bol ke kyo bolege’ kyunki in baato mein koi sachai hi nahi hai (when my child comes, I don’t want him to hear this because there is no truth to it)’. Ruhaan was a premature baby; we had a difficult time in the hospital.”
Her statement underscores the impact of social media rumors on personal lives, particularly during sensitive phases like pregnancy. Not too long ago, Shoaib Ibrahim too reacted to these rumours in his vlog, wherein he had shared, “I’m saying it very clear today that this news is fake. The motive of the person who has spread this wrong news is unclear. She was affected mentally. She was told so many things. Don’t jump to conclusions. This is so bad and wrong. You are making such a big accusation on a woman who is celebrating her first child, who has suffered a miscarriage, and now she is living her happy life with her first baby.”
