Avengers: Doomsday is finally kicking into high gear! The latest BTS photo actually gives fans their first look at the cast during the filming of a scene.
The production of Avengers: Doomsday has been an interesting one. Every BTS photo seems to come with a massive revelation about the film and where it sits within the MCU’s multiverse. However, every single one of this pics seems to be bereft of any cast members. Meaning, despite how much fans have seen of the actual movie, almost no scenes have been captured on film.
This changed with the latest BTS photo from cinematographer Newton Thomas Sigel. He recently posted an image from the set of Avengers: Doomsday as production picks up in Bahrain. In it, fans can see what is clearly Winston Duke’s M’Baku talking to two members of the cast. While it’s hard to tell who they are in shadow, their sizes indicate that they may be Letitia Wright and either Danny Ramirez or Simu Liu.
How The Cast Of Avengers: Doomsday Will Meet
This BTS photo lines up with another shared recently, which confirmed that a number of characters from the Black Panther series would be key to the current shoot in Bahrain. It seems as though the country will serve as the backdrop to recruiting characters like M’Baku into Captain America’s version of the Avengers, while also providing enough space for an action set piece with the Atlanteans.
Notably, the BTS photo also lacks any notable set design. This suggests that there will be some sort of location similar to Bahrain present in Avengers: Doomsday, or at least close enough that modifications to the landscape don’t need to be made prior to shooting. It’s also possible that, with the lack of obstructions, more pictures with the film’s cast can find their way onto the net!
