The Fantastic Four: First Steps reveals its first pieces of merch! Leaked t-shirts give fans a new look at the team and tagline of the reboot.
Despite the film releasing in just over half a year, there’s been little-to-no official details revealed about The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The reboot has been shrouded in mystery, with not even a poster finding its way onto the net. However, not even the most heavily guarded films can beat the mortal enemy to comic book films: merch being shipped out.
The merch in question is a t-shirt for The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The most notable aspect of the design is a silhouette for each member of the reboot’s team, though those are similar to those seen at SDCC. The truly new thing seen on these shirts is words that appear to be the film’s tagline. The tagline seems to emphasize the group’s more academic side along with their heroic venture, stating “Heroes. Scientists. Explorers. Protectors.”

A New Look At The Fantastic Four In The MCU
Yet the merch isn’t the only new look fans have gotten at The Fantastic Four: First Steps in recent days. Promo art from Disney Celebra Argentina gives fans their best look yet at the team in the upcoming reboot, including the full design of The Thing and Pedro Pascal’s look as Mister Fantastic. It also seemingly reveals that Sue Storm’s powers will be blue in the project, as opposed to their usual translucence.

Given how high-profile of a project The Fantastic Four: First Steps is, it’s not likely that a trailer will drop on any random day. In all likelihood, fans will get their first official look at the reboot during the Super Bowl or, at the latest, during Thunderbolts. Until then, these merch leaks may be all the fandom has to work off.
