With the film due out later this week, initial social media reactions for Superman are already pouring in. Given how much James Gunn and Warner Bros. Discovery have been pushing the film the past few months, it’s not a shock that reactions to the newest take on the DC Universe are taking over almost every major social media site. At the time of writing, Superman is tracking to open $90 million-$125 million. This certainly isn’t bad, likely rivaling the opening of projects like Top Gun: Maverick, which saw $126.7 million during its opening weekend. Though this means that, if the project hopes to achieve the near-billion James Gunn and Warner Bros. Discovery are hoping for, reactions will be key in carrying the new DC Universe to glory.
