Michael Lohan has been arrested.
Lindsay Lohan’s father was taken into police custody on Saturday after allegedly getting physical with his estranged wife Kate Major. A rep for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the news to TMZ on Sunday noting the arrest took place in Texas. According to court docs obtained by the outlet, the 64-year-old was charged with continuous violence against the family.

A source told the outlet Kate was getting a medical exam when she told officers Michael flipped her out of a chair a few days prior, which led to discomfort. A responding officer confirmed visible bruising on Kate. So, Michael was placed in cuffs without incident at his residence and booked in jail. His bond was set for $30,000.
What a horrible situation…
Michael and Kate have a very… colorful past. The two married in 2014 after welcoming two sons, but temporarily lost custody of both of them in 2015 for fighting in front of them. They later filed for divorce in 2018 after Kate was arrested for domestic battery. Michael was then arrested in 2020 for allegedly being physically abusive, before Kate was arrested in 2024. And they’ve had SEVERAL other run-ins with the law… We just hope the kids are okay.
