Years after starring in Love Is Blind, Shayne Jansen‘s love life remains super messy…
The 36-year-old reality star was dating fellow Netflix personality Julie Theis, who won The Trust: A Game of Greed. The pair hard launched their relationship in October 2024. However, Shayne and Julie broke up after less than a year together — and the rumored reason will raise eyebrows.

First, he announced the split on Instagram Stories on Saturday, saying:
“Julie and I have decided to go our separate ways. I hate that I even have to make this post but that’s the reality of the world I live in. I won’t be speaking on this any further. I’ve learned that sharing details about personal matters rarely helps anyone.”
OK, no big deal, right? They broke up, he wants to keep it private. Only… does he want it to stay hush-hush because it’s ridiculous?? You won’t find an explanation for why the two went their separate ways from him — at least, not as of this writing.
Julie, on the other hand, spilled the tea to her own followers! Fans claimed on Reddit that the influencer posted to her own Instagram Stories claiming they broke up… over a bikini photo! What?! One person wrote:
“She posted that they broke up over her bikini picture even though Shayne has a OnlyFans where he posts videos himself ma***bating and thirst traps all the time. OP stop blaming Julie. This is clearly Shayne being unhinged and having no emotional regulation. Same old LIB Shayne.”
Another added:
“She just posted another story that said, ‘god forbid I post myself in a bikini’. So I’m assuming they got in a fight over that, which is weird because she posts bikini pics often? Who knows lol”
We unfortunately can’t confirm she posted this as IG Stories disappear. But it’s true Julie often posts bikini photos. Innerestingly, the ones she currently has on her grid are from last year before she went official with Shayne online! Check ’em out (below):
Did she post another one recently, and he made her take it down or something? Hmm…
If this is true, how messed up of Shayne! Not to mention hypocritical since he posts on OnlyFans and shares shirtless photos on IG!
She has neither confirmed nor denied the Reddit comments yet. However, Julie did return to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday to say:
“Thanks for checking in on me friends. I’ll say more when I’m ready. I’m alive tho & appreciate you.”
