Lupita Nyong’o has moved on from Joshua Jackson!
As Perezcious readers know, Lupita and Joshua first sparked romance rumors in October 2023 as they were both going through public breakups. But in October 2024, the actress confirmed she was single again weeks after the Dawson’s Creek alum was spotted out with model Nastassja Roberts in NYC.

But it doesn’t sound like she stayed single for long! According to Thursday’s Deux U podcast, DeuxMoi revealed she received a tip from an anonymous source that the A Quiet Place: Day One star has been dating problematic rock star Jared Leto! And it’s been going on for a long time!
The celeb blogger shared a message she received “weeks ago,” dishing:
“Jared Leto and Lupita Nyong’o are officially together. They started hooking up over the summer after she went to a concert of his, apparently. But after putting on a big PDA display at the Charles Finch BAFTA party, making it party circuit official, he’s been staying with her at her London hotel for the last week.”
Whoa!
The aforementioned BAFTA party took place in mid-February, BTW. But the new couple actually go WAY back!
They became fast friends during the 2014 awards season when they were both nominated for their first Oscars. They were spotted at parties and events all the time then, sparking mass romance rumors — fueled further when the singer straight-up called Lupita his “future ex-wife” at the Independent Spirit Awards.
Just last June, Lupita told Glamour that the dating speculation irritated her at the time, expressing:
“It was drawing attention away from the work. I didn’t want that sort of attention. I didn’t want all that chatter to deter from the joy I was having becoming his friend.”
She didn’t let it ruin their friendship, though, adding:
“I can hit him up about things; we see each other, and it’s always a warm experience.”
