Daredevil is finally meeting the wider MCU! An Avengers: Doomsday rumor has reportedly revealed the role the Man Without Fear will play in the crossover.
Fans have been calling for Daredevil to appear in one of Marvel’s massive crossover events ever since Captain America: Civil War. Yet with the character now officially in the MCU thanks to Daredevil: Born Again, fans are now looking to Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars as the next outlet for the character to appear on the silver screen.
Luckily, it seems the hopes of fans may finally be coming to light. Insider DanielRPK revealed in a recent rumor that Daredevil will, in fact, appear in Avengers: Doomsday after so many years of missing out on the MCU’s biggest projects. However, he did disclose that the character will only have a “small role,” suggesting that Matt Murdock won’t be joining the main lineup for the superteam.
What Role Will Daredevil Play In Avengers: Doomsday?
This rumor is corroborated by a recent post from DFRNT Health and Fitness. The gym recently posted a photo promoting Charlie Cox’s use of their gym to help train for season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again. However, they also noted that he’s apparently training to appear in an upcoming Avengers film, suggesting that his role in the MCU crossover may not be too big of a secret.
Given that Avengers: Doomsday is written by one of the scribes for Infinity War, it’s likely the film will be paced in a similar way. This means that the focus will likely be on Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, with him facing multiple teams of MCU heroes with their own storylines. Daredevil will likely appear in one of these storylines, likely recruited by She-Hulk due to their intimate relations.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to hit theaters in May 2026. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
