Is the cast of Loki joining Avengers: Doomsday? One of the show’s biggest stars may have just confirmed their return in the highly-anticipated film.
Loki was one of the true gems of the Multiverse Saga. In five years of trying (and often failing) to find a hit on Disney Plus, the series stood out as one both old and new fans of the franchise could get behind. This is why fans weren’t shocked when it was confirmed that Tom Hiddleston would return in Avengers: Doomsday. While the series did provide his character closure, the runaway success of it meant that the actor very-well deserved a victory lap for his victory lap.
However, in spite of how big the series was, Tom Hiddleston seems to be the only Loki cast member making their return in Avengers: Doomsday. This is rather shocking, as the series was packed full of memorable characters at the TVA, and Hunter B-15 even made her return in Deadpool and Wolverine! Yet the names on the chairs may not have been as complete as some fans were led to think.
The Loki Variant Key To Avengers: Doomsday
Recently, one of Tom Hiddleston’s Loki cast members posted a cryptic image to their social media. Sophia Di Martino, who played Sylvie in the series, gave an ominous look with the word “playground” in the caption. This, along with the fact that her stunt double has been seen around the UK where Avengers: Doomsday is currently filming, may suggest that Loki’s most important variant may play a role in the upcoming film.

Given the ending of the Loki series, it would make sense that Sophia Di Martino would appear alongside the TVA in Avengers: Doomsday. Especially given where Tom Hiddleston was left seen, there would need to be someone around to lead his allies to him and, more importantly, give the audience key exposition on what happened in the series. Maybe this will even be how that whole Kang storyline is wrapped up!
