One Pacific Palisades resident thought he lost everything in the LA fires — until he was reunited with his dog!
On Sunday, Casey Colvin returned to the site of his burned down home five days after he was forced to evacuate. At the time, he unfortunately got separated from his pooch Oreo and thought he might never see him again. But low and behold, when he returned to search through the rubble, there was Oreo! Alive and well!

In emotional footage shared by NBC News correspondent Liz Kreutz, Casey is seen calling out to his furry friend, who excitedly runs over to him. Casey can hardly believe it and screams with joy in the heartwarming moment. Watch (below):
What an amazing moment to be captured on camera! According to Kreutz, Oreo was taking refuge in the rubble of Casey’s neighbor’s home. The worried owner apparently left out food and water in the hopes his sweet dog was still alive and would find it.
We’re so happy for Casey and Oreo! This is a much-needed win amid so much devastation. Our hearts remain with all those affected by the LA fires.
