While ever since its release, it was known that Pushpa will be created into a franchise, fans couldn’t stay calm as the sequel hit the screens on December 5. Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, has been garnering much love from audiences for its high-octane drama. While the Sukumar directorial has sparked excitement as it drops a hint about a third film in the pipeline, audiences are curious to know more about this triquel, which is reportedly titled Pushpa 3: The Rampage. However, much to their dismay, it stated that Allu Arjun is busy with other work commitments and hence, the release of the same will be quite delayed.

Pushpa 3 to release after six years as Allu Arjun busy with other projects: Report

Readers would be aware that the character of Pushparaj returned to theatres within two years after its prequel Pushpa: The Rise. In fact, ever since the film released in December 2021, there has been no releases for Allu Arjun who returned to the big screens with Pushpa 2: The Rule. But now, GreatAndhra report has revealed that the Telugu superstar wants to concentrate on other projects and will now start work on other impending films. If these reports are to be believed, the National-award winning actor already has a few films including a movie with Trivikram Srinivas in line. Meanwhile, director Sukumar is also expected to jump into other ventures including a project with Ram Charan. Considering all these, reports suggest that Pushpa 3: The Rampage will only be able to commence somewhere around 2028 or 2029.

Furthermore, another rumour which is doing the rounds is that popular star Vijay Deverakonda will be a part of this film. According to these reports, the actor will be seen in the role of an antagonist in Pushpa 3: The Rampage. While gossip mills have suggested that the actor is allegedly dating Rashmika Mandanna, who plays Pushparaj’s wife Srivalli in the franchise, it will be an interesting twist for the audience to watch out for!
