Sabrina Carpenter is not here for the goss about her breakup with Barry Keoghan!
Six months ago, news broke that the pair ended their relationship again. While sources claimed Sabrina and Barry parted ways because they’re “young and career-focused,” rumors of a more scandalous reason soon emerged! He allegedly cheated on the pop star with a blonde influencer! Yikes! Sabrina warned him not to “embarrass” her, and look what he did! No wonder she later dropped a whole song about a Manchild!
The former Disney star did not address the drama — except for throwing shade at Barry here and there! Now, she is ready… somewhat! When the breakup speculation came up in an interview with Rolling Stone on Thursday, where she graced the cover completely nude, Sabrina shared that she tries not to read the online gossip about her! She is “immune and numb” to them for the most part:
“When you get down the little rabbit hole is truly when people start commenting on you as a person or you physically. All of those things that you’re already thinking on a day-to-day basis. You don’t need a stranger from Arkansas to remind you.”

Or remind you about how an ex may or may not have done you dirty! Oof! However, even she cannot help but catch the inaccuracies in some stories about her life, especially when it comes to the timelines! The Espresso singer said:
“You’re like, ‘That didn’t happen then. That did happen then. You’re missing a few key details there.’”
Which details are true or false, girl? The breakup timeline? The cheating? A People source previously denied infidelity caused the split, swearing Barry “was always very faithful” to Sabrina. He also slammed the “absolute lies” and “disgusting commentary” about him amid the drama. Soooo, what is inaccurate? Tell us more, Sabrina! LOLz! Unfortunately, we likely won’t get all the tea! Not unless she spills it on her upcoming album, Man’s Best Friend.
Sabrina went on to express how tough it is to date as a young woman in the spotlight, saying:
“People underestimate how tricky it is to navigate being a young woman, having relationships, and then having a bunch of strangers have opinions on them. Because surely, all of these people that are commenting, if they had the same microscope on their personal lives, I don’t think they’d be as eloquently spoken as me. I know it’s a tale as old as time. It’s just unfortunate that it’s still a tale.”
Although Sabrina’s lips are sealed somewhat about what happened with Barry, she does touch on her current relationship status! When asked if she’s single, she replied:
“Am I doing the single thing right now? I’m doing the 25-year-old thing right now, whatever that means.”
Hopefully, it means she’s thriving and having fun! Especially after the crazy year she had in her career and romantic life!
