Taylor Swift finally did it! She owns all her music again!
The 35-year-old pop star made the shocking announcement that she purchased the rights to her first six records from Shamrock Capital on Friday. She has full ownership of her songs, music videos, concert films, album photography, and unreleased tracks, with “no strings attached” this time.
Despite some previous reports to the contrary, her longtime enemy Scooter Braun had nothing to do with the sale! He gets zero credit for solving the problem he had a major hand in starting years ago! It was all Shamrock Capital, Taylor, and her team!

But Scooter does have an opinion! So what does the man have to say for himself after this monumental moment? Scooter reacted to the deal, and he kept his statement short and sweet. The former manager told Us Weekly on Friday:
“I am happy for her.”
That’s it? Really? No apology still? Wow.
We guess he didn’t want to risk the wrath of the Swifties if he said the wrong thing! And let’s be real! He’s probably just glad this chapter is behind him now. What are your reactions to the statement, Perezcious readers? Sound OFF in the comments below!
