Selena Gomez DMed Hailey Bieber Amid Justin Vogue Drama: REPORT

You may or may not be shocked about the latest alleged update in the Vogue cover debacle, Perezcious readers!

Not only has Selena Gomez offered Hailey Bieber support online after Justin Bieber belittled the model, she reached out to her this week! That is what one source alleged to DeuxMoi! Hailey’s hubby has been in the dog house with fans after he hopped on Instagram to congratulate her latest accomplishment with Vogue but brought up a past argument, where he told her she would never be on the cover.

It was a bit of a s****y move since everyone is now talking about his cringe caption and not her amazing achievement — or what she said in the cover story, like about her medical scare after labor. Amid the backlash, the singer edited the caption to simple emojis, but the damage was done.

And days later, Hailey received support from an unexpected person… his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez. The Rare Beauty founder made it clear she’s in the momma’s corner! Selly first liked an Instagram post announcing Hailey’s makeup line Rhode Beauty will be in Sephora stores. She then shared a post that said:

“You matter. Your voice matters. Your heart matters. You are worth so much more than you know.”

The Only Murders in the Building star added a caption, writing:

“you know who you are and I’m cheering you on”

This had to be directed at Hailey, right? Selena appears to be extending an olive branch — not just with the public posts! She allegedly did so privately, too!

A source claimed to DeuxMoi that Selena messaged Hailey about the Vogue fiasco on Instagram — though they did not share what the note said. Perhaps it was to congratulate her? Hmm. The insider went on to allege the Rhode founder “accidentially opened it [Gomez’s DM)] and didn’t know whether or not to respond.” So what does she do? Hailey allegedly phoned a friend! The insider claimed she was “fielding calls about what to do the whole day and Kylie Jenner came over to councel her.”

Wow!

Of course, take DeuxMoi’s report with a grain of salt. Neither Selena nor Hailey have confirmed or denied the DM — and it doesn’t seem likely either of them will. But if it is true that the Wizards of Waverly Place alum reached out, what a wild turn of events! We wouldn’t expect this from Selena due to her complicated history with Hailey, but we love women supporting women.
