While Shruti Haasan is quite active on social media, recently the actress piqued their interest when she resumed the shoot of her highly-anticipated entertainer Coolie that also features megastar Rajinikanth. The actress who is currently wrapping up the schedule of this Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial, recently engaged in a Q&A session with her fans on Instagram. While her eager fans were quite curious to know more about Shruti’s projects, a fan asked her about the progress on Coolie.

Shruti Haasan drops major update on Rajinikanth starrer Coolie; here’s what she has to say

Amid many questions, a fan asked for an update on the Rajinikanth starrer, to which Shruti Haasan shared in the video, “Coolie is going great” as she described her experience of working with the team of the massy entertainer. Apart from that, during the session, she also gave a playful insight into her birthday plans, which is just two months away. Shruti quipped, “I’m gonna start posting presents that I want but never get every year (laughs).” On a more serious note, she added, “I think I will be working this birthday, and a working birthday is fantastic. I pray to work every day until I die, so a working birthday is just the best idea for me.”

Speaking of her work commitments, Shruti Haasan will be seen in a different avatar in Coolie in which she will be essaying the role of Preeti. Apart from her and Rajinikanth, the film will also feature Nagarjuna in a pivotal role along with an ensemble supporting cast that includes the likes of Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Sathyaraj. With music by Anirudh Ravichander and an extensive technical crew, the film is expected to hit screens next year. Along with this, Shruti has also expressed a keen interest in taking her singing career ahead.
