Are Tom Holland and Zendaya tying the knot? A new report suggests the Spider-Man co-stars are engaged.
Zendaya and Tom Holland have become one of the most prolific celebrity couples over the past few years. The two megastars have followed the time-honored traditions of Spider-Man actors becoming romantically entangled with their love interests outside of the film set. Since then, the two have been very public about their relationship, with it becoming the poster child for a healthy young couple in the modern social media era.
Yet it seems their relationship may have just taken one gigantic step forward. This past weekend, Zendaya made a stunning appearance at the Golden Globes, with many noticing a new ring on her finger. Many presumed that this might be an engagement ring given to her by Tom Holland. Those ideas have seemingly been confirmed by TMZ in a recent report, stating that the Spider-Man star proposed to his girlfriend during the recent holiday season.

Tom Holland’s Future As Spider-Man
News about the two potentially being engaged has caused some to worry that Tom Holland’s time as Spider-Man may be coming to an end. While this may seem like a comical exaggeration, the speculation stems from a recent profile featuring Holland in Men’s Health. The actor reflected on how public his life has become, especially in regards to his relationship with Zendaya, before revealing that he plans to retire once he has kids.
“When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore.” Holland explained before adding. “Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth.”
Given Tom Holland has been open about his struggles to find the balance between a normal life and life as the face of Spider-Man, it’s good to hear that he has an exit plan to the chaotic world of Hollywood. Of course, even if it is true that he and Zendaya are engaged, that doesn’t mean kids are coming anytime soon. Rather, it’s just another point showing that the two may be on their own path away from the glitz and glamour of the city of angels.
