‘Star Wars’ Rumor Teases Big Plans For ‘Andor’ Star Following Season 2’s Success

]

It seems Andor isn’t over just yet! The success of season 2 has drawn eyes to a certain character to continue their journey throughout the Star Wars galaxy.

Andor will likely go down in history as a triumph of what truly competent and visionary creatives can do with established franchise. The series wasn’t just good for a Star Wars show, but became one of the best sci-fi projects offered on modern streaming. This isn’t even to mention season 2, which pushed the boundaries of what one could consider “Star Wars” to be and what topics could be discussed in a program watched by families across the globe.

Though with the story of Andor coming to an end with season 2, fans are left wondering where the franchise is meant to go from here. Star Wars has put a lot of focus on the prequels and the stories around The Mandalorian. However, the rich, complicated world presented by Andor is such fertile ground for storytelling that it seems like a waste to just leave it all behind.

Is Andor The Future Of Star Wars?

Luckily, it seems those that oversee Star Wars also see the potential in this corner of the franchise. The latest rumor from DanielRPK suggests that, while Andor isn’t expected to continue beyond season 2, one of its most iconic characters may life on. Specifically, Lucasfilm seems to have plans for  Adria Arjona’s Bix to reappear in future projects.

Of course, Andor season 2 ended with a massive loose thread regarding Bix and Cassian Andor in the fact that she’s currently pregnant with his child. While some believe that this kid could be Poe Damaron, the idea of a single mother wandering through the shadow of the Empire with their young child is such an exciting one that it would be foolish for the Star Wars creatives not to pursue it.

The complete series of Andor is now streaming on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the Star Wars universe and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
