Fans finally know who the true villain is in Superman! The latest toy leak seems to reveal the shocking identity of the film’s most mysterious character.
Superman is full of mysteries. Where has Otis been in all the trailers? Who is Baby Joey? Will Vigilante and Peacemaker appear? But perhaps the most pressing out of all of them is who the villain with the “U” on his chest truly is. The character has been shrouded in mystery for the entire production, with not even an actor attached to portray the character.
The obvious answer as to what Superman villain it could be, given the giant “U” on the character’s chest, is Ultraman. However, that remained only as speculation. Even then, the way in which Ultraman would be adapted is still up for debate. Some say he’s a clone of Superman, others say that he’s Parasite. Others still argue that he could be an entirely different villain like Ulysses or Mon-El.
Who Is The Mystery Villain In Superman?
The answer to all these questions has finally arrived in the form of yet another toy leak. This one is from a line of figures based on characters from the Superman movie. This includes fans’ best look yet at the ‘U’ villain, as well as the confirmation that the character is, in fact, called Ultraman. Even if the toy looks a little bit more…purple than previous set photos.

The purple coloration of Ultraman has many fans convinced that the villain will, in fact, be combined with Parasite in Superman. Most likely, the Parasite was found my Lex Luthor in the Fortress of Solitude and, after being trained against other heroes, will be framed as the true hero opposed to the Man of Steel. Though it’s likely that more details about the character’s involvement will leak the closer the movie is to release.
