Tamannaah Bhatia, the celebrated Indian actress known for her powerful performances in multiple regional film industries, recently had an unforgettable spiritual experience at the Maha Kumbh Mela, one of the largest religious gatherings in the world. The actress attended the event as a part of the teaser launch of her upcoming film Odela 2, a supernatural thriller which shares a deep connection with Lord Shiva.

In a video shared by ANI, Tamannaah Bhatia shared her profound experience of taking a holy dip as she participated in the ritualistic bath at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mystical Saraswati rivers. The actress, who was seen wearing a simple kurta as she described the experience as “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity”.

Tamannaah’s words conveyed the deep sense of peace and tranquillity she felt while immersing herself in the holy waters. She spoke about how the atmosphere at the Kumbh Mela was filled with devotion, spirituality, and a sense of collective energy that resonated with her on a personal level. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity…I felt very good. It is because of everyone’s devotion and faith that we are able to do such a big thing together. It is a blessing.” Tamannaah shared, expressing her reverence for the sacred event. The actress also took time to appreciate the devotion of the millions who come from all walks of life, some of whom travel great distances to be a part of the Mela.
Known for its deep significance in Hinduism, the Kumbh Mela is a sacred event where millions gather to take a dip in the holy rivers, seeking spiritual enlightenment and purification. The gathering, held once every 12 years, is a display of spiritual unity that crosses borders of caste, creed, and background.
Coming to Odela 2, the film will feature Bhatia in the role of Shiv Shakti and is directed by Ashok Teja and it is slated to release in cinemas this year.
