Teddi Mellencamp was rushed into emergency brain surgery! On Wednesday, the reality TV star took to her Instagram to reveal doctors just made a startling discovery earlier this week — and that she was headed in to fix the issue immediately. She wrote:
“For the last several weeks I’ve been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches. Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization. After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months.”
Whoa. That’s awful.

Her statement continued:
“Two of the tumors will be surgically removed today – The remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date. I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health. Thank you to everybody who has reached out, and to everyone who has supported me along this journey
”
The 43-year-old — who is also in the middle of a messy divorce after she cheated with her horse trainer — also posted a selfie of herself lying down on a hospital bed with medical equipment on her forehead. She wrote:
“Counting down the minutes until my babies get here. As my dad said this am, god only gives hard stuff to those of us who can handle it. It’s a hard day but I have faith and amazing surgeons and know everything will be ok.”
Later, she shared a vulnerable vid of her pal shaving her head in preparation for the operation. While appearing upbeat, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star joked, “My best look.”
In the moments before she was wheeled into surgery, she shared another video showing the crew she had supporting her in the hospital, including bestie Kyle Richards, Morgan Wade, and her estranged husband Edwin Arroyave. How scary! But thank goodness she was surrounded by so much love! See (below):
