Yay! Wendy Williams was able to go visit her father for his birthday despite her very restrictive guardianship!
Last month in a rare podcast interview, the former talk show host expressed her desire to leave her assisted living facility and travel to Florida for her father’s 94th birthday, but she worried her legal guardian would not let her. Thankfully, she was able to make it happen!

On Monday, Wendy’s son Kevin shared a new photo of the former DJ with her father Thomas celebrating the latter’s b-day. In the Instagram Story pic, the three smiled for the camera while Wendy held up a birthday card. Kev captioned it:
“Happy I could make this happen for you Papa.. I said by any means and I kept my word.”
Sweet!

By the way, this comes after the 60-year-old totally slammed her son, claiming he stole money from her. We’re glad to see they were able to put any differences aside to make this wish come true!
