As per an ABP report, Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma had been living separately for 18 months before their divorce was finalized. The final hearing took place at the Bandra family court on February 20, from 11 AM to 4:30 PM, where the judge officially dissolved their marriage.

During the hearing, Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal stated that their divorce was based on “mutual consent.” When asked about the reason for their separation, they cited “compatibility issues” as the primary concern.
Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal have not yet released an official statement regarding their divorce.
Ahead of their divorce hearing, Dhanashree Verma shared a cryptic Instagram post titled “From stressed to blessed.” Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal also posted a note about God protecting him multiple times, sparking speculation among fans.
In January, Dhanashree Verma addressed the trolling and negativity surrounding her personal life. She shared on Instagram, “The past few days have been incredibly tough for my family and me. What’s truly upsetting is the baseless writing, devoid of fact checking, and the character assassination of my reputation by faceless trolls spreading hate.”
Dhanashree further stated, “I’ve worked hard for years to build my name and integrity. My silence is not a sign of weakness; but of strength. While negativity spreads easily online, it takes courage and compassion to uplift others.”
She concluded with, “I choose to focus on my truth and move forward, holding onto my values. The truth stands tall without the need for justification. Om Namah Shivaay.”
Later, rumors surfaced that Chahal was dating RJ Mahvash, but she strongly denied the claims.
Dhanashree and Chahal got married in December 2020 in an intimate ceremony after a brief courtship.
